Galore Starts 2400-Metre Drill Program at Taseko Lake

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Oct 2, 2007 (Marketwire via COMTEX News Network) --

Galore Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GRI) announced today the commencement of a 2400-metre diamond drill program on its 48,000 hectare Taseko Lake property in southwestern BC.

The drill targets were outlined earlier this year following a successful 2,000-line kilometre time-domain EM and magnetic survey conducted by Aeroquest International Geophysics. A planned eight hole program will test copper, gold and molybdenum targets which were further defined by the airborne survey. The program, which had been delayed pending final permitting, is now expected to be completed by the end of October.

The drill program is part of a $1.6 million summer/fall program on Galore's prospect located 15 km south of Taseko Mines' Prosperity project, believed to be the largest undeveloped copper-gold deposit in Canada.
