You might be right; see this Ontario Government web site

It contains the Mineral Exploration and Deposit Appraisal Expenditures in Ontario that accounts for 28% of Canada's total expenditures. March 2009 update.

"Senior companies are expected to spend $203 million in 2009 as exploration activity continues at minesites, and gold producers are conducting extensive exploration and development work in the vicinity of their gold mines."

Let us hope that some of this trickles down to HMI on its strategically located properties. If a senior company gets involved on select properties they could do well for themselves and for HMI.
