With the recent FT financing Hinterland is funded to complete a drill program on the Lockout project in Quebec. The original plan was to do this work in July.

However the Golden Saddle discovery by Underworld in the White River area of Yukon has changed all that. Underworld announced a spectacular hole on May 26, 2009. Mark Fekete was in Dawson City two days later and had a staking crew mobilized on May 29^th.

This summer, Hinterland will be putting all its efforts into financing its new Ballarat project in Dawson City and completing a surface exploration program. The goal is to have a drill on the property by early September.

The Lockout property can be drilled as late as November with no logistical problems whereas the White River area has a relatively short exploration season
