Voice Powered Social Networking enhances English language studies
TORONTO, CANADA, May 21, 2008- Intertainment Media Inc. (“Intertainment” or the “Company”) (TSXV:INT) is pleased to announce that the Company has signed agreements to provide its voice powered social networking platform, Itibiti, to programs in China and Japan to promote English language studies in consumer and commercial settings. Full details will be released upon launch, which is expected within 90 days.
Revenues will be generated through commercial licensing fees, integrated advertising, sponsorship, promotions and permission based marketing programs. Itibiti will receive “seat fees” for commercial programs as well as operational fees, with the balance of the revenues split among the partners. The distribution partners are well established with the governments, commercial distribution networks and universities in Asia.
This deal is the first ESL (English as a second language) that combines interactive learning with voice, text and messaging services allowing the students to learn individually, in study groups or in remote classroom settings. The program will feature navigation in multiple languages. The service will offer free programming to consumers and custom learning sets for commercial clients.
