I am sure the "Due Diligence" conducted by both Microsoft & NBC was extensive and involved both testing ITIBITI to death and scrutinizing the business plan down to the last detail.

That alone would have taken months. Once satisfied, the work would then get passed over to their respective legal departments. Add numerous months for that process.

If you tally it all up, the upfront investment in time, research and legals by both Microsoft and NBC gives this credibility.

Let's hope they are right in their assessment.
