stock consolidation?

I wonder if the company would ever consider a stock consolidation or as some people call a reverse split... a 1 for 2 perhaps? The total outstaning I think is getting high and pushing that psychological 100 million mark. A for 1 for 2 consolidation would result in just under 50 million outstanding for the company and would double the stock price overnight. I think 50 million outstanding for a developmental company with no revenues would be more enticing to attract capital investment dollars imho
