Australia's investment profile

STABLITY -seemingly long term - politically, economically, availiability of commodities, value of the kiwi

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION - close to consumer's (India / China) breadbasket

SUPPORT - the uproar over the coal industry getting undue control over the Queensland rail system seems to be turning in favor of supporting all commercial enterprises which includes LGDI. The increased traffic is predicted to be quite large and quite profitable to the rail companies. The entry of Wengfu as a partner has to increase the attractivness of a dynamic LGDI

Apparently the mining companies will have to share in the investment of developing/expanding the port and rail infrastructure. I notice that one of our Australian competitors has estimated the cost of building it's slurry pipeline to be on the order of $ 180 million but gets the transport costs down a bundle
