In my opinion, Wall Street, as exemplified by the S&P, has been grossly overvalued without a meaningful correction for its longest period ever, about 15 years.  If so, a correction, perhaps coming soon, could change its ranking on the chart, and gold could retake the position it had in the 1970s.
