I will chime in as well. The Company intendes to pursue home heating, but as the prior controbutor suggested, that requires a good bit more infracstructure development and commitment from a municipality. Whereas other clean tech companies often hold out for the "home run" that may never come, MagneGas has recognized a near term business opportunity in the metal cutting fuels space that is immediately addressable. They process municipal liquid waste in Dunedin, FL, harvest the gas, simply store it in the sort of tanks already common in metal cutting and ship those tanks where needed. No need to yet overhaul a utility, or in the case of the auto industry, establish a network of filling locations.
Although MagenGas will pursue both home heating and alternative fuel cars, the Company has the business acumen to prove the efficacy of its product and commercialize it first; thereafter it will strategically pursue the more "sexy" oppportunities from a base of solid sales.
Too many clean tech companies run before they can walk, outstripping their capital resources and imploding in messy fashion. MagneGas has opted for a different approach.
