An interesting strategy is that if your stocks double in price, sell half and keep the rest forever. You can't lose a penny and you can take advantage of a serious capital gain at any time in the long run. Not only was there some profit taking, but I'll bet you those people didn't sell all of their shares either. They sold some, but not all.. They held some back for an even bigger payday.
