This is easier said than done. The political and financial elites of America want to maintain the status quo, namely, the creation of money out-of-thin air, artificially low interest rates, and massive bailouts engineered by the FED and the U.S. Treasury.

This is why Im discouraged that the system will change in a meaningful way. Without the creation of money out of thin air, national budgets will be constrained to funds tracked to the gold standard. This wont be acceptable to the elite. They wouldn't be able to build empires without a constant flow of funds, even if it devalues the currency.
