A stupid thing to do, especially when its obvious that gold is going to quadruple or more over the next few years. The FED will do ANYTHING to suppress the price, even if that means talking the price down with this obvious bush league maneuver.

This is all reminicent of when Gordon Brown sold a vast swath of England gold reserve 7 years ago in the 200's, just before it started taking off.

Our political establishment are a bunch of imbeciles & morons.
