I have been scanning the Internet for news or articles of this development in the local Oman press for the last year. With the exception of one small personal blog form nearly a year ago there hasn't been any that I have been able to find. Since the first of the year there has been 2 or 3 pieces announcing the Omagine project in Oman publications. The fact that local Omanis are reading about it would have to indicate favorable momentum to wards a reality.
