Where on earth did you get that information? Oman's GDP for 2007 was over $40 Billion, with a B. Check https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/print/mu.html

On a more productive note, has anybody read the weekend news? The Torurism minister certainly gave a hint of Omagine being one of the pending projects near the Wave.
