Sorry Agora, but respectfully l have to agree with Ellaf, direct references are nice and should be posted but the general state of the sector and the Oman economy and tourism is very important and must not be ignored! To say :

"While general reports, publications and blogs concerning tourism, the Middle East, etc. are of value, these sources number in the thousands."

Rather then pick out the most insightful or relevant, do you mean it's easier to ignore all of them?

Especially considering that the news releases from OMAG have been few and far between and with a drastically changing world economy this information is essential.

Prehaps if you would even repost the tremnedous articles being posted from individuals on the forum so they easily show up beyond the few days before they are burried in the back posts.
