I was once an officer in a well established ($30M/yr revenue) US company. We decided to go public. We were told that the offering would be a flop without PR, so the CEO spent a month making presentations all over the US. The offering was then quite successful. Not the same situation as OMAG (marginably profitable stable business, no asset triggers, privately held) but maybe the need for PR is comparable if not more necessary.
