Once the world finally wakes up--I mean really wakes up--not just "lip service" and a couple of drones that our administration is contributing, it will be controlled. The plummiting price of oil will give urgency to those countries heavily dependent on oil revenues , to establish other sources to sustain their economies. (By the way,the UAE and OMAN already get it). Regardless of the reasons for the depressed oil prices they likely will remain below where they've been for years. Whether its because of the Saudi's flooding the markets to stick it to the Russians (Which is a good thing) or the Frackers, it doesn't matter. Assuming the Congress gets the Keystone pipeline through and they override the "obstructionest" in the Whitehouse,that pipeline will give us, and the world, access to Canada's oil and if the Frackers go bankrupt, the holes are already in the ground and the equipment will end up somewhere, so that if OPEC tries the old embargo again,the lids will come off of the Fracking operations and the price of oil will stabilize well below the rediculous prices of late.For the record our USA is the world leader in oil and natural gas production!( Isn't it amazing what Yankee ingenuity can produce when necessity rears it's head and the tree hugging crowd and Al Gore get the hell out of the way!).
