Dear Agoracom Family,

I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the past 48 hours and apologize for what was admittedly a botched launch of our new site.

As you can see, we have reverted back to the previous version of the site while we address multiple forum functionality flaws that inexplicably made their way into the launch.

To this end:

1.We have identified 8 fundamental but easily fixable flaws that will be corrected in the coming week, so that you can continue to use the forums exactly as you've been accustomed to.

2.Additionally we will also be implementing a couple of design improvements to "tighten up" the look and feel of the forums.

Have a great Sunday, especially those of you like me that are celebrating Orthodox Easter ... As well as those of you who are also like me and mourning another Maple Leafs Game 7 exit ... Ugggh!

I am obviously looking through a different lens (or lenses) in trying to understand the situation we are in.

No one really managed to explain me that despite all what is the project promising, we are not able to raise those $10mil - $15mil needed to complete whatever is needed (or whatever you call it) to present the case to large investors, and raise big money for the construction process. I am maybe a bit too simplistic, but we are talking project worth some $2.5bn! It should be a piece of cake.

I offered possible explanation in one of my previous post in this thread, referring to differences between stock market and real estate funding. Again, I am not an expert, and that was just a suggestion.

Calling in a proper large developer was another suggestion.

 

On a positive note, I really would like to believe there are back up investors waiting to sign. Everything will be so easy.
