Prior to JOL becoming a subsidiary of Alfa, JOL had proposed a development project in Qatar, the Emir of Qatar decided not to proceed with the project and it was at this point JOL approached the Sultanate of Oman and signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Alfa is hopeful that negotiations with the Emir of Qatar will resolve all matters concerning Qatar project. The Memorandum of Understanding with the Sultanate of Oman is a separate project and the one descibed in the Corporate Profile and Broker fact sheet.
