Dear Alfa shareholder, thank you for your inquiry. Prior to JOL becoming a subsidiary of Alfa, JOL had proposed a development project in Qatar, the Emir of Qatar decided not to proceed with the project. Alfa is seeking compensation from the Government of Qatar in regard to costs which Alfa incurred in good faith on the basis that this project would proceed. Alfa is currently negotiating with Qatari officials.
