Beardmore/Geraldton Gold Camp 2009

A new gold camp has been established in the historic, Beardmore-Geraldton and Tashota-Onaman greenstone belts, which have produced over 4.1 million ounces of gold.

Recent favourable drill results have encouraged well funded companies to increase the scale of drilling in the area.

The estimated combined minimum exploration budgets may drill at least 160,000 meters in 2009.

Significant players in the Beardmore-Geraldton and Tashota-Onaman greenstone belts include:

Premier Gold Mines, “PG” TSX; $8-9mm; 2009 exploration budget

Roxmark Mining, “RMK-V”; JV (30%) with Premier (70%)

Kodiak Explorations, “KXL” TSX; $6 mm; 2009 Hercules project.

Sage Gold, “SGX-V”; $2.5mm; Beardmore area.

Ontex Resources, “ONT” TSX; $ 2.3 mm; Brookbank Gold Deposit

Throughout 2009, the Beardmore-Geraldton gold camp will continuously produce a large number of assay results, contiguous with a strong flow of news.
