Separately the examiner states that Mostek, IC Master, Ledzius and Kato are not in the file of the 336 patent and not cumulative to the art of record in the original file.

Yikes! I was under the impression that the examiner would see the previously considered prior art in some new light. Not say that it doesn't exist in the record. Am I misunderstanding what those statements mean?
