You are a good friend, Marc, and I appreciate you taking up for me by expressing dissatisfaction over whatever snide remarks were made about me by the BoD at the meeting. However, I have promised to try to refrain from severely criticizing them here in the forum as we await the Markman ruling, so, for now at least, I think we should just let it go.
After the way I've busted their chops over the last few years in a business context, I certainly can't expect that the BoD would have "warm, fuzzy feelings" for me, although, as I've said many times, I think all of them are nice people on a personal level. They know from experience that I never breach a confidence, so if they care to take the time to contact me to air out any differences, they are certainly welcome to do so, although I won't exactly be sitting by the phone expecting a call --- in any event, I'll just continue to do my best to keep my word. At this particular juncture, the immediate future is what's most important, and snide comments are just "sticks and stones" stuff anyway.
I've already drafted a very long post based on everything I've read so far about the meeting and what we can expect moving forward, although I still need a few bits of information before it can be completed. This morning, I must attend the last portion of a legal seminar that started yesterday, then I have some work to do, but I hope to be able to make the post later this evening or tomorrow.
Thanks again, Marc. Real friends are truly a blessing.
