I had a very nice and fairly lengthy telephone conversation with him yesterday. Of course, he provided no "inside" information, and no one can make promises or foretell the future as to the Markman ruling, but I appreciated his call and, in general, I was in agreement with most of what he said.

Today has been my wife's birthday, and I have several depositions set over the next few days. As previously mentioned, I had drafted a long post about our current status and what might be expected in the event of a favorable Markman ruling, most of which, as it turned out, was in accord with my conversation with Mr. Flowers. I will post more as time allows, but in the interim, please do not think that there is anything of a blockbuster or unexpected nature about this --- it was simply an affirmation of most of what I've already said about the near term, and I was pleased with that.
