Cliff Flowers, Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, joined Patriot in September 2007 and is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance activities, planning, treasury, legal and general services for the company. Most recently, Cliff was Interim CFO for BakBone Software Inc., a developer of software solutions focused on data protection and business continuity. Prior to joining BakBone, Cliff served as senior vice president of finance and operations and CFO for Financial Profiles, Inc., a developer of software for the financial planning industry. Prior to joining Financial Profiles, Cliff served as CFO of Xifin, Inc., a provider of hosted software services to the commercial laboratory marketplace. Before coming to Xifin, Cliff served for nine years in positions of increasing responsibility at Previo, Inc., a developer and marketer of various PC and server-based products, including backup and business continuity offerings. As CFO of Previo, Cliff's global responsibilities included all financial operations and legal affairs. He earlier served as an audit manager with Price Waterhouse, LLP. Cliff is a graduate of San Diego State University with a B.S. summa cum laude in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting and holds a CPA license in California.
Carlton M. Johnson has served as a Director of since 2001, and is the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board. Mr. Johnson currently serves as legal counsel for Roswell Capital Partners, LLC and has served as legal counsel for Equiplace Securities, LLC (formerly $wartz Investments, LLC) since 1996. Mr. Johnson is an active member of the Alabama State Bar, the Florida Bar and the State Bar of Georgia. He has been a member of the Florida law firm of Smith, Sauer, DeMaria & Johnson and Vice President and President-Elect of the 600 member Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association. Mr. Johnson earned his degree with high honors in History/Political Science at Auburn University and his JD degree, also with high honors, at Samford University - Cumberland School of Law. Mr. Johnson also serves on the board of Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a publicly traded company.
Gloria Felcyn was first appointed a Director in 2002 and is the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. Ms. Felcyn is a Certified Public Accountant and has been the principal in her own public accounting firm in Saratoga, California, since 1982. Prior to establishing her own firm, she was employed by Main Hurdman & Cranston 1969 through 1970 and at Price Waterhouse & Co, in the San Francisco and New York offices from 1970 through 1976. Subsequent to that, Ms. felcyn worked in the field of offshore tax planning with a major real estate syndication company. Ms. Felcyn received a B.S. degree in Business Economics from Trinity University in 1968 and is a member of the American Institute of CPA's.
