I also believe investor confidence plays a roll here.

But I don't think the SP will be bid up significantly and for an extended period of time until we see an EPS upward trend. To be convincing, will need to see at least 2 consecutive Qs of significant increases in EPS. Last Q's EPS was zero, so we'd hope that a significant increase in EPS would not be too difficult from this point. However, we haven't seen a lot of license announcements, and new acquisitions usually start out incurring additional expenses before big earnings arrive.

When will we see those 2 or more Qs? I'm now betting it'll be in late 2009 or early 2010. And that's ok with me.
