Where did i hear it?

An analyst on BBN video said something to that effect..I think it was 'there has never been a case successfully prosecuted in Canada'....

no Mike Miliken, Eliot Spitzer...mutual funds giving special after hours trading benefits to the hedge funds

Generally in USA it is only big cases that are prosecuted..but for me in a small but listed company, my alias got "discovered" regarding a Yahoo msg board and I was lectured by my superior for making a minor comment on my co ...since I was in the finance dept...

I think co's are paranoid because they are constantly breaking the law or on the verge of doing it. Fidelity and other mutual fund mgrs used to call our VP and ask for info all the time ....no doubt they got stuff in advance of news releases. Officers make big money on stock options etc.

I believe Larry MacMillan's Option newsletter was not successful in giving advice in hi option volume...based on implied rumors
