I think the real problem with Chromite is that there is now too much of it. With Black Thor and Big Daddy alone, Cliff said that they could supply North America for the next 50-150 years. Now, Probe shows up and says they have found more, probably adding at least 50 years of supply to meet the demand.

Noront originally thought that the chromium discovery was the greatest thing since sliced bread. But now, they are turning back to looking at nickel and PGE (I hope...).

Probe's best hope for value from the chromium ore will be location. They have high grade resources with less overburden, and happen to be at a high point compared to the surrounding swamp. This might turn out to be a benefit, but I don't think our chrmoium will draw a large premium. But hey, I love being wrong.
