NEWS -- Cineplex Entertainment Eliminates Processing Fees for Online Ticket Sale

TORONTO, ONTARIO-- Just in time for the summer blockbuster season, Cineplex Entertainment (TSX:CGX.UN ) announced today the elimination of online processing fees effective May 2, 2008. Guests can now purchase tickets online in advance of their arrival at the theatre knowing they have a ticket for this summer's biggest blockbusters in addition to saving the traditional $1.00 per ticket online processing fee.

"We continually review our operations and respond to customer feedback to identify new opportunities to expand guest service, provide added conveniences and improve the overall movie going experience."

In addition to saving the processing fees, movie tickets purchased online also earn SCENE members a 20 point bonus. Purchasing tickets online is fast, secure and easy at www.cineplex.com and all major credit cards and Interact debit cards are accepted for payment. Online ticketing for Cineplex Entertainment is powered by RepeatSeat Ltd.

The newly redesigned cineplex.com website is now the second most visited movie entertainment website in Canada offering many new features including: enhanced show time search capabilities, streaming videos of upcoming movies, an online version of Famous Magazine news, in addition to exclusive movie and entertainment news written especially for Cineplex Entertainment.
