I think it's hurting everyone overall from the movie makers to the theaters. It's all readily available online for anyone to watch. Theres no need to make that 40 dollar trip to the movies anymore when you can watch it in the comfort of your own home. I myself still enjoy watching the new releases at the theatres (well some of them) but there are a few that I watch online
