I can't post the chart but since March 2008, the last time gold hit $1,000 ....

the TSX-V is down 65%

PHLX Gold and silver Sector index is down 34%

Amex Gold bugs index is down 27%.

also Oil, one of the largest input costs for miners is down by 2/3.
