The way I see it, betting against paper currencies is the safest "bet" you can make right now. It is quite clear that the US fed is in damage control mode. They have made it quite clear that they are going to be as aggresive as they see fit. Take a look at the fed funds rate... not much lower to go. After that it is nothing short of turning on the printing press and away they go.
