Also of note... not a big deal but...

A fund called Firebird Republics Fund owns another 5.7 million (~11%) of CPW-v...

Therefore, assuming Kinross and Firebird are onboard (i.e. ~46% of shares out) they would require approval from just ~21% of the remaining 54% of shares out to get required 66.6% approval rate.

Would also seem given CPW-v Russian history other large holders are European.

CPW-v meeting to vote on agreement is set for July 23, 2009 (i.e. 3 weeks from today) and "the Effective Date of the Arrangement is expected to occur on or about August 7, 2009, or such other date as the Parties may agree."... So I am guessing final TSX approval expected to happen by this date.
