a bit of history on early drilling at Brookbank below. Not that impressive at first, but you'll notice the grades are similar to the ones in yesterdays NR.

This reinforces my thoughts that deposit discovery is a progressive process, and Sage is on the right track. Especially considering the 30 holes below vrs. 5 holes from yesterday.

I would like to see an accellerated discovery process of a continuation of Brookbank system going straight through the heart of Paint Lake. Past work on Brookbank can be used as a blueprint for SGX exploration.

"Metalore optioned the Brookbank property in 1981 and carried out line cutting, an electromagnetic survey, a low frequency electromagnetic (VLF-EM) survey over selected portions of the property, and 30 diamond drill holes totaling 3,567 m. This program outlined 2 targets: a high grade lens, 17.1 g Au/tonne over a width of 2.3 m and a 2.1 m wide zone grading 3.43 g Au/tonne with a possible strike length of 122-183 m. Total tonnage potential was estimated to be 90,780 tonnes at 3.43 g Au/tonne. The second target consisted of a 12.2 to 15.2 meter wide foliated zone with 3.0 to 6.1 sections grading up to 3.43 g Au/tonne.

In late 1982 and early 1983, 3 widely spaced drill holes, totaling 330 m were completed on theBrookbank property testing the metavolcanic - metasedimentary contact. The best result was from Hole DDH83-M2 that assayed 4.1 g Au/tonne over 1.2 m."
