KINROSS TO ANNOUNCE Q3 FINANCIAL RESULTS ON NOVEMBER 2, 2009

Kinross Gold Corp. will release its financial statements and operating results for the third quarter of 2009 on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, after market close. In connection with the release, Kinross will hold a conference call and audio webcast on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time to discuss the results, followed by a question-and-answer session.
