Hi Art,

" If the BG area is truly as rich in metals as many think we could be giving away the farm in such a move. No???"...

No not necessarily IMO... especially when we are talking about merging with a company with an even bigger BG land position. KXL has an even larger un-explored land position in the BG area... there are great chances there are deposits on KXL land not yet discovered. Obtaining KXL shares in exchange for your SGX shares gives you exposure to this bigger and stronger company that can realistically explore this massive land package in a timely manner, make new discoveries, and move them on to development... that's what best for shareholders... that prospective land gets explored and exploited in a timely manner. But that takes money. Money gets harder and harder to obtain for a company find when shares out gets very large and price stays very low (i.e. SGX). With every PP at these low prices, existing shareholders 'piece of the pie' gets smaller and smaller... unless of course all PPs go to some big investors/institutions that have nothign but the companies long-term future in mind... not the case with SGX but seems to be the case with the Richardson's and KXL.

Again, what's the alternative?... Are the next set of results realistically going to send SGX up to 20 cents... i.e. where it would need to be to get any outstanding warrants exercised?... I would hope so but in all likelihood no... So where does that leave SGX?... It leaves SGX with tons of prospective property but no means ($) to explore it and an already massive float. I would personally rather a merger with KXL than issue another 50 or 100 million shares at 6 cents... but that's JMHO. Consolidation of this area is enivitable... why delay the enivitable expecially when it would likely be better for all?... IMO the ongoing competition (or lack of cooperation) amongst these companies is a bad thing for existing shareholders.
