NEWS - STAR NAVIGATION - U.S. District Court Rejects AMS's Jurisdictional Arguments

posted on Aug 19, 08 10:40AM

TORONTO, Aug. 19 - Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. (TSX-V: SNA.V) ("Star" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the United States District Court for the Northern District of California has completely rejected Aeromechanical Services Ltd.'s ("AMS") arguments for lack of personal jurisdiction included in their Motion to Dismiss Star's patent infringement lawsuit (see Star press release May 13, 2008). Although the Court granted AMS's Motion to Dismiss, the Court has given Star leave to file an amended complaint. Specifically, the Court afforded Star time to name Hilary Vieira as a joint defendant with AMS. Star will comply immediately.
