Toronto Company Helps Score a Goal for Peace
TORONTO, Dec. 19 /CNW/ - Toronto based Skylink Aviation is playing a
strong supporting role in "A Goal For Peace", a charitable friendly match
between the Iraqi national soccer team and some of the world's most celebrated
soccer stars.
"We're very proud to sponsor the Iraqi national team and to have the
Skylink logo on their shirts," said Jan Ottens, CEO of Skylink Aviation Inc.
"This is another part of our effort to support Iraq as it rebuilds."
"A Goal for Peace" will be held at Milan's San Siro Stadium on Monday,
December 22nd. Several international soccer celebrities have volunteered to
play in the match including David Beckham (Galaxy), Francesco Totti (Roma) and
Cristiano Ronaldo (Milan).
"A Goal for Peace" has been organized by two groups, the "World
Organization for Peace" (OMPP) and "Un Goal perlas Vita Onlus."
For close to 20 years in over 60 countries, Skylink has delivered
humanitarian aid and support services to and within the most remote and
troubled areas in the world. It is currently operating daily flights from
Dubai to Bagdad to transport laborers involved in the reconstruction of Iraq
as part of a contract with the U.S government.
I gotta tell you guys, we're with a real winner of a company here. Thank God I
made that move over from you know where to SNA. lol.
Have a great day all and hope to hear from you soon!
