If you take a look at the costs involved in going to court you always want to think twice before doing so. Lawyers always seem to be the ones that win in the end. Patent protection is a very important issue and sometimes going to court is warranted. I just shudder thinking of all the monies that have been spent. Combined SNA and AMA spent close to 1.5 million. The other thing when you think about it, which is probably more valuable, is time and energy. I am very happy that this situation has come to an end. As some of my friends have so aptly said, maybe now we can get back to the business at hand.

I hear that that there is an election coming up in India on the 16th of May. Maybe we could hear some positive news from that side of the world.
