Count me in as one of them. I started investing in Star Navigation about 3 years ago and have been continuously impressed with their technology and their vision.
Back in 1999 I started a unique business that was about 5-6 years ahead of its time. It was a private house for sale company called SellingItMyself. I created something that even today was far advanced of the private for sale companies that exist today. ByTheOwner and Property Guys are doing quite well today in a market that is now ready for them. Back in 1999 -2001 it was a different story. The internet was not quite what it is today particularly because of the speed of which the internet operated. The vison was there for the void that existed. Remember the old dial up modems and those squeals when it connected. Brings back fond memories doesn't it. Today the internet is common place and virtually everyone is connected to it. Matter of fact we could not operate without it. Advancements in the speed of the internet and satellite technology has allowed Star Navigation to be what they have become. I decided to fold SellingItMyself because quite simply I was going broke. Interesting to note if I had kept at it for a couple more years, success was right around the corner and the two above mentioned companies are proof of that. We can always learn from our endeavors.
The reason I share this with you is that my brother in law who was in business with me approached our accountant Viraf Kapadia to raise some funds to expand our business in the dot com (dot bomb) era. They politely declined because back then they were already in the infancy stages of Star Navigation and were committed to that project. Here is an interesting differce as well. They continued with the determination and belief that their product would succeed.
Technology is the future. Just like the company I started, Star Navigation is on the cutting edge of that technology. It takes commitment and the ability to forecast in advance to create a product to meet what the airline industry needs not only today but well into the future.
It is my belief that Star Navigation has accomplished that. I am very proud to be an investor and supporter of that. I have attended shareholder meetings and spoken with Mr. Viraf Kapadia and Mr. Dale Sparks on a couple of occasions and am deeply impressed with their foresight and unwavering committment to the success of Star Navigation. The word quit is just not in their vocabulary. They have created without question and without parallel the very best product for a void that exists in the airline industry today. An industry that is calling for the very same technology to be what they call The Next Generation. Star Navigation is the real deal no question about it.
Anyone who thinks that Star Navigation is sitting on their butts and not doing everything in their power to further their interests is sadly mistaken. One needs to respect that Information will only be supplied when it is 100% complete and not until.
