A lot of people don't think the young Canadians of today do not have pride and respect for those who have fought for this country. This is an assignment my son had for rememberence day. Thought is was a cool way of kid showing his view of those who make this country so good.

A Poem
The soldiers had the hearts as brave as the lion
just like the men in "Saving private Ryan"
They had to always fight
through the day and as well as in the night
Most nights were tough
as the enemy was rough
but they fought it through
for me and for you
and we we will never forget
though some will regret
the mistakes some have made
and the soldiers have paid
and the ones who survive
will praise God they're alive
and I will remember
on a day in November
at the 11th day of the 11th hour
for the men who have died and the women who cried
I WILL REMEMBER
