Ismore, I coudn't agree with you less. I can assure you that if the 'head honcho' happens to be a matriarch, she will be treated as such, with much respect and attention.

Mrs. Cramer is very correct when she said their way of doing business is to get to know who you're doing business with before you do the business. It's not only cultural, it makes a lot of sense, if you think about it.

I think it is inevitable that Lori will need to visit China sooner than later if any serious discussions get underway, they will want to 'know' her. Although Murry has done an excellent job of setting this up, it could be taken as a slight if the head of the organization delegates too much responsibility to her assistants (from their viewpoint) and does not show the willingness to appear. It needs careful timing.

I think this is a major step forward, but don't hold your breath. The Chinese investment horizon is much further out than ours. If you think things take a long time in Canada, "you ain't seen nothing yet".

Someone mentioned Jinshan, a Vancouver based miner operating in China. Their major shareholder is one of the largest goldminers in China. Their name has now changed to China Gold International Resources and part of their mandate is to pursue and acquire mineral properties on behalf of their major shareholder. Not sure how that's going but maybe worth watching.

All of the above for what it's worth and just my unqualified opinion.
