Message: SLI investors dreams, well based

Here is a couple excerpts from an article mentioning Arequipa, and how fast an investment can change lives. Investors here had every cause to believe SLI was going to the moon, and still believe in the properties today. There was no reason for any investor to sell, and most didn,t. Which leaves the question, how did the stock price get so low, with little to no sellers of stock? The answer seems to lie mostly in the trading and cross trading, that methodically stepped the stock price down continuously. The trading tapes should surely show the several houses trading the same stock back and forth, as the SP got lower and lower. Because in theory, if there is only one trader in a stock, they can have 2 accounts to trade a stock back and forth in, taking it to zero or infinity, its that simple. Stock manipulation is illegal.

Excerpts;

1)"If you had invested $10,000 in Vancouver-based Arequipa Resources in October of 1995, you’d have cashed out with $260,000 a year later when it was bought out. Arequipa did what mining exploration companies dream of, it discovered over seven million ounces of gold."

2)"As for the “strong technical team,” you need to make sure the company you’re considering investing in has real geologists and real business managers. Check out the people in the organization, which you can often do through the company web site. If there is no geologist, then you know you’re just dealing with mining speculators. And do a broad-based Internet search to learn about the managers (start by typing their names into Google.com). Do they have a history of successful mining projects, or do they have a troubled past?"

2) Note; John Brophy was our respected geologist that fit well with the "strong technical team" mentioned above. I have reviewed Johns work considerably of the Tesoro, and have found no inconsistencies and have even found his suspicions of geology concepts of the Tesoro come to fruition. This established his credibilty substantially with me and I garner much respect for this geologist.

3) Also, Rich says, look for a sound business plan that includes development and joint venturing – this is how you get paid how you make your real money how you end up with a stock like Arequipa, which rose from $1.15 to $30 in a year. Rick urges you to find out their exact plan as, surprisingly, many can’t even articulate their plan for making you money. Avoid those.
