CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 28, 2007) - Torch River Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:TCR) (FRANKFURT:WNF) ("Torch") wishes to issue a retraction to its news release of November 28, 2007. In that release Torch used figures concerning its resource which included those in the inferred category and a statement of gross metal value.

Exchange Policy Appendix 3F/5.3 (g) states: "the reporting of gross metal value is not acceptable".

Torch River Resources apologizes for this error and requests that all readers of the original Press Release please ignore this reference as fact.
