VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(July 16, 2009) - UC Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:UC) announces that it has arranged a non-brokered private placement by the sale of 1,000,000 units, at $0.10 per unit. Each unit will be comprised of one share and one-half of one transferable share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant exercisable for the purchase of one additional share, at a price of $0.15 per share for a period of two years. Proceeds from the private placement will be used for working capital.

The financing is subject to regulatory approval.
