VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(July 23, 2009) - Further to UC Resources Ltd.'s (TSX VENTURE:UC) (the "Company") news release dated July 16, 2009, the Company is pleased to announce it has received TSX Venture Exchange approval for and closed its private placement of 1,000,000 units, at a price of $0.10 per unit, to raise proceeds of $100,000. Each unit is comprised of one common share of the Company and one-half of one transferable warrant, each whole warrant exercisable to purchase one common share, at a price of $0.15, for a period of two years.

All of the shares, warrants and any shares issued upon exercise of the warrants comprising the units are subject to a hold period and may not be traded in Canada until November 23, 2009, except as permitted by applicable Canadian securities laws and the TSX Venture Exchange.
