Yukon Gold purchased 100% of a polymetallic deposit in March, 2006 which is now valued with an in-ground value of over $2 Billion. It is the largest undeveloped VMS deposit in North America.. Historically, multi metal deposits like this one are in the range of 1.5-2 million tones. Yukon Gold’s Marg Deposit which is located in the Mayo Mining District of Yukon Territory is close to 7 million tonnes with impressive grades (1.76% Cu / 4.6% Zn / 2.4% Pb / 53 g/t Au) The company’s recently released 43 101 states that exploration potential is excellent and they have over 2 billion pounds of zinc equivalent in the ground. With a market cap of $10 million, the stock price of Yukon Gold seems to be extremely undervalued compared to others in its peer group. If you look closely at this Company and what is happening in the Yukon, I believe that Yukon Gold is well positioned to be one of the significant movers in the stock price and the region. I am going to keep my eye on this one and see how results look this year from their drill programs.
