If "smart grids" hit the forefront, then RuggedCom (RCM) would be an interesting play.

They are a Canadian company but obtain most of their revenues from the US, Europe and Asia. In fact, they report in US dollars.

Financials look good... nice YOY growth. Even without the potential infrastructructure gains, this looks like an attractive company.

TD Securities has it as a Buy. The one thing I don't like about it is that it trades relatively thinly, about 16,000 shares per day.
