ALL IN MY OPINION, PLEASE DO YOUR OWN DD. THIS IS NOT INVESTMENT ADVICE.

The excitement today is clearly in anticipation of the soon to be released 3 scout holes in the recently discovered area they are calling the South Miwah Bluff.

If you're playing this you really need to understand what's going on here and what this south zones potential is.

Holes 5, 6 and 7 were drilled in this section and the company has said we should see the first assay by the end of next week. By my time line hole 6 is now completed and probably logged and sawed (we know from Mondays NR that the core from hole 5 was being prepared for assays). This may be important because 10gram + gold is normally visible to the eye, so there may be people out there that have a pretty good idea as to what the assays for these first two scout holes may contain ...and given the trading activity of EAS today it seems to me that there is a pretty good chance that somebody knows something more than they should. That's all speculation on my part, take it for what it is.

More importantly read the following sequence of events straight from the companies mouth. Follow the progression of this very recent discovery so as to understand its potential. Pay close attention to how the surface sampling of this new discovery changes East Asia's focus. At first they are happy to simply sample the new South Miwah feeder zone, possibly aware of the adage in this game that "if you drill it you can kill it" there seems to be no plans to drill the new discovery. Ie. its easy to promote something that shows great samples at surface, but the drills will tell you very quickly what you have so you better be damn sure that the grades at surface extend downward.

By the third release the companies very focussed 10 hole drill plan of the Miwah Gold zone is changed abruptly with the addition of 2 new scout holes at South Miwah. The plan is to drill them last. This lends credibilty to the new discovery as its added to the current drill plan. Then we find out recently they've decided not to wait to the end of the current program asthe rig has already been moved there and drilled not only the two holes expected, but a third is added! This is an extremely important development in my opinion. They also go on to put a gun to their head by saying in this past Monday's NR that holes 4 and 5 are expected back within the next two weeks. I really don't think a company is going to put themselves on that type of time-line unless they're pretty sure they're going to have some pretty good results to share. As I said before you're not likely going to get that kind of confidence unless you've got visible gold and if you've got visible gold, we may very well be hearing about some intervals grading over ten grams per tonne. And that my friends would be what we call " a game changer".

"Concurrent to ground preparations for the upcoming drill program, geological teams are continuing with sampling of the main Miwah Gold Zone, regionally in areas such as the highly prospective Sipopok Gold Zone 1.5 kilometres to the NNE, and in areas where mapping and sampling are defining direct extensions to the Miwah Gold Zone. Assays results from 223 rock sawn and rock chip channel samples have been recently received for the newly discovered South Miwah Bluff feeder zone and the eastern portion of the Miwah Gold Zone.

Air photo interpretation defined the South Miwah Bluff zone, which is a subdued north-northeast trending ridge comprising a number of subsidiary feeder structures. The main feeder structure occurs as a southwesterly extension to the high-grade structure mapped at the western area of the Miwah Gold Zone, which will be tested during the upcoming EAS drill program. This zone is a new EAS discovery not recognized by previous explorers, and further demonstrates the robust upside of the large Miwah tenement.

The South Miwah Bluff zone occurs as interspersed boulders and sub-cropping strongly silicified blocks of andesite crystal tuff and tuff breccia. Similar to the main Miwah Gold Zone the dominant alteration is vuggy silica with sugary and massive silica, with moderate to strong oxidization, rare (<1%) remnant sulphide minerals (pyrite & enargite) and native sulphur.

Results from recent sampling has both increased the known size of the Miwah Gold Zone and confirmed the presence of high-gold grade feeder structures to the south. The discovery of the South Miwah Bluff bonanza gold zone has opened up the southwest portion of Miwah prospect by an additional 350 metre by 250 metre area with very promising potential to further increase the southerly strike. The discovery of bonanza gold grades hosted in NNE trending structures south of the Miwah Gold Zone suggests that these are feeding gold mineralization into the larger receptive horizons being targeted by the upcoming drill program. These gold mineralized structures also suggest very good starting potential for future mining activities to generate faster returns on investment and aid in cash flow for ramping up production from the larger outflow zones. In addition to drilling of the main Miwah Gold Zone, ongoing exploration efforts will define drill targets within the new discovery for testing immediately following the current program.

"VANCOUVER, B.C. -- Tuesday, July 7, 2009 -- East Asia Minerals Corporation (TSXV-EAS) reports that ongoing exploration of the recently discovered South Miwah Bluff Gold Zone has exposed additional high-grade gold, and continues to expand the Company's flagship Miwah Gold Project in Aceh Province, Northern Sumatra. The Company also announces that drilling is underway to test the full strike length of the main Miwah Gold Zone, having commenced at the western extreme.

Results have been received for 154 rock sawn channel samples from South Miwah Bluff, and include 83.59 g/t gold over 24 metres, 20.14 g/t gold over 12 metres, and 9.21 g/t gold over 7 metres. Detailed follow-up is ongoing to the north and south along strike of the high-grade exposure where several gold-rich channels including 125.9 g/t gold over 23 metres and 19.15 g/t gold over 8 metres were recently discovered by EAS (news release June 3, 2009). These efforts are designed to establish the connection between the main Miwah Gold Zone and this new discovery, and to determine the mineralization boundaries. Additional coherent and detached altered / mineralized bodies have been outlined between the main Miwah Gold Zone and the new high-grade gold discovery.

** Trench 163 (RC) comprises rock sawn channel sample follow-up to Trench (RO) 158. All other trenches are in new areas (refer to map on Company's website at www.EAminerals.com).

The main South Miwah Bluff feeder structure occurs as a southwesterly extension to the high-grade structure mapped at the western area of the Miwah Gold Zone, which is currently being drill tested. At least four main north to northeast trending mineralized/altered boulder trails have been mapped and sampled within a 360 metres long by 240 metres wide zone connecting with the main Miwah mineralization. The full extent is yet to be delineated. Similar to the main Miwah Gold Zone the dominant alteration is vuggy, sugary and massive silica, with moderate to strong oxidization. The boulder trails are interpreted to represent detached blocks of underlying outcrop.

Within this zone the high-grade gold occurs in outcrop covering 100 metres by 280 metres at the structural intersection of two principal trends running north-northeast and east-west. The gold-bearing bodies are more extensive due to vertical and lateral development, with a high likelihood for the lateral component merging to form a continuous mineralized body. Whilst the mineralization remains open to the south, the current program is also investigating a possible extension of the South Miwah Bluff hydrothermal breccia to the north of the main Miwah Gold Zone.

The discovery of South Miwah Bluff has opened up the southwest portion of Miwah Gold Zone and expanded the potential of this large gold system. In addition to drilling of the main Miwah Gold Zone, ongoing exploration will define drill targets within the new discovery for testing during the current program.

Drilling has commenced with the second hole (EMD 002) progressing well. The initial program will comprise 10 holes for a total of 2,000 metres to provide a 3D validation along the currently defined 1,200 metre strike of the Miwah gold-bearing silica zone, exposed along the Miwah ridge and open to the west. This program will provide a further indication of the gold resource potential and the framework for follow-up drilling. Initial drill results from the program are expected late-July/August."

July 28, 2009 NR

"VANCOUVER, B.C. -- Tuesday, July 28, 2009 -- East Asia Minerals Corporation (TSXV-EAS) reports that mapping/sampling along the recently discovered South Miwah Bluff Gold Zone at the Company's flagship Miwah Gold Project in Aceh Province, Northern Sumatra, continues to extend the strike length of the high-grade gold-bearing feeder structures. Recent rock sawn and chip channel sampling along strike from previously announced areas (news releases of June 3 and July 7, 2009) encountered up to 24.7 g/t gold over 6.3 metres in a rock sawn channel. The Company also announces that drilling is progressing well to test along the full strike length of the main Miwah Gold Zone, with initial assays anticipated over the next weeks. This campaign will now include scout drilling of the new South Miwah Bluff Gold Zone.
Results have been received for an additional 112 rock sawn and chip channel samples from South Miwah Bluff. These include 24.73 g/t gold over 6.3 metres, 20.05 g/t gold over 2.2 metres, 6.15 g/t gold over 3.1 metres and 5.19 g/t gold over 2.0 metres from rock sawn channel samples extending the recently reported high-grade structure (83.59 g/t gold over 24 metres) another 75 metres to the south.
In an area 250 metres south along strike from all previously reported mapping/sampling, the Company encountered 2.2 g/t gold over 24 metres (including 7.89 g/t gold over 5 metres) and 2.78 g/t gold over 15 metres from rock chip channel sampling in an altered subcrop and boulder area.
Twenty-seven chip samples of altered subcrop and boulder were collected in a 135 x 35 metres area located 100 metres north along strike of the 83.59 g/t gold over 24 metres channel sample. . Two clusters of greater than 1g/t gold occur on the southern and northern margins of this anomalous area. Values from the southern cluster include 1.36, 1.42 and 4.72 g/t gold; and from the northern cluster include 1.08, 1.84, 1.91, 2.38, 3.22, 3.71 and 10.3 g/t gold.
These new results combined with ongoing mapping indicate the South Miwah Bluff Gold Zone comprises a minimum of three major generally northerly trending gold feeder structures, with associated cross-cutting structures where high-grade gold appears to be concentrating. The gold-bearing zone has been extended another 250 metres to the south, for a currently outlined north-south length of approximately 650 metres. The north limit is defined as the location where the structures enter the western portion of the higher elevation Main Miwah Gold Zone. The gold structures continue north through the Main Miwah Gold Zone and towards the Sipopok discovery located a further 1.5 kilometres to the north along structural strike. The known width of the South Miwah Bluff Gold Zone, as exposed at surface, is up to 350 metres wide (east-west). To date 204.8 metres of rock sawn channel samples (typically one-metre length, half HQ core size) have been obtained from the South Miwah Bluff discovery, and average 14.25 g/t gold.
Regional scout traverses are planned to evaluate south of the eastern portion of the main Miwah Gold Zone for similar structures to those controlling the South Miwah Bluff Gold Zone to the west. Additionally, reconnaissance mapping north along strike of the South Miwah Bluff Gold Zone, past the main Miwah Gold Zone, has encountered favourably altered outcrop and subcrop north of the current drilling area, towards the Sipopok discovery.
Miwah Update
The South Miwah Bluff feeder structures occur as south to south-southwesterly extensions to the high-grade structures mapped at the western area of the main Miwah Gold Zone, which is currently being drill tested. At least three (to four) main north to north-northeast trending mineralized/altered structures have been mapped and sampled within a 650
metres long by up to 350 metres wide zone connecting with the main Miwah Gold Zone mineralization. The full extent is yet to be delineated. Similar to the main Miwah Gold Zone the dominant alteration is vuggy, sugary and massive silica, with moderate to strong oxidization. In addition to outcrop, boulder trails and sub-crop are interpreted to represent detached blocks of underlying outcrop.
Within this zone the originally discovered high-grade gold occurs in outcrop covering 100 metres by 280 metres at the structural intersection of two principal trends running north-northeast and east-west. The gold-bearing bodies are more extensive due to vertical and lateral development, with a high likelihood for the lateral component merging to form a continuous mineralized body, and for repetition elsewhere in the South Miwah Bluff Gold Zone.
The discovery of South Miwah Bluff has opened up the southwest portion of main Miwah Gold Zone and expanded the potential of this large gold system. In addition to drilling of the main Miwah Gold Zone, the current drill campaign will now include scout drilling of this new high-grade area.
Drilling is progressing well, with the fourth hole (EMD 004) now commenced. The initial program will comprise 10 holes for a total of 2,000 metres to provide a 3D validation along the currently defined 1,200 metre east-west extent of the main Miwah gold-bearing silica zone, and an additional 2 scout holes to the south. This program will provide a further indication of the gold resource potential and the framework for follow-up drilling."
