Here is the current status of flying cars

U.S. based company, Beyond Roads, has grounded all five of its flying car prototypes following a crash in Vernon in April.

Emergency crews were called out on May 10 when a locally owned flying car crashed near an elementary school.

This was a Maverick flying car, sold by Florida-based Beyond Roads, and a pilot and a passenger suffered minor injuries.

According to a statement on the company’s website, “the pilot that he and his passenger walked away from the accident with only minor cuts and one sprained ankle.”

At the time of the crash, the car had been attempting flights to make certification.
